a few 2015 favorites: December

In December I saw how excited Sara was about the advent activity calendar, shared a photo an hour, baptised our son, made paper snowflakes with Sølve, spent a Sunday in the woods hunting for the perfect Christmas tree, baked saffron buns with Sara and her grandmother, was excited for the first tiny bit of snow and had plenty of good times with families and friends during Christmas and New Years.

new photo project: brighter evenings

On a whim I decided to do a photo project for the month of March, the first month of spring. Inspired by my previous projects darker mornings and darker mornings, yet again, brighter evenings will be a celebration of longer days, increasing light and the coming of spring.

I keep the project "rules" simple: I will take my photos after 6 pm every evening and I will try to post the photos - with a little caption - every day.

a few 2015 favorites: November

In November I watched an amazing sunset at the beach, shared scenes from a November weekend and the recipe for a little bit healthier banana muffins, was gifted dough for the most delicious chocolate chip cookies I have ever had, was happy to see the first frost of the season, had the best visitors from Bergen, saw how happy Sara was to be back in kindergarten today after a couple of days at home being sick, made salad (instead of my typical sandwich) for lunch, enjoyed fire in the wood stove pretty much every morning, was proud of Sara for giving up her pacifiers (BIG milestone!) and got a little bit more into the swing of being a mother of two.

a few 2015 favorites: October

In October I slowly adjusted to being a mother of two, had sleepless nights due to my newborn baby, saw how proud Sara was to be a big sister, did the darker mornings, yet again project, celebrated birthday week, bought a juicer and started drinking green juices, watched lots of tv series on Netflix whilst nursing, trimmed my fringe by myself for the first time, framed a big print of one of my photos and hung out with my sister and nephew who visited from Tromsø.
