paper writing fuel
I had to put the pizza assistant off her duty because she ate all the cheese.
Almost 6:30 pm light in the basement living room.
A very much needed thorough trim of the overgrown hedge.

paper writing fuel, part II
While I'm inside writing my paper, he is outside in the snow dealing with an overgrown hedge. My hero!

Easter at the mountain cabin, 2015 version
After a few days at home working on my paper whilst Sølve worked in the garden, we finally headed to the mountain cabin for our traditional mountain cabin Easter vacation. We had not been there since Easter last year, so it was really, really nice to be back. And with such enormous amounts of snow! We have actually never seen it like this. It was quite a job to dig out the cabin door... Sara loved being back also - this time not only in the pulk but on her own skis too. We are so proud of her!

Answers to questions in the comment section:
Ine asked if I develop film myself.
- No. Would be nice to try once though. In Bergen I got my film developed by Antonio Stasi; I need to find a new developer now that I live in Stavanger. Thinking of testing Aker Foto.
Selina commented on this post: Å! i have been wondering where berthas oldebarn had gone to!
- Unfortunately Berthas is out of business since spring last year.

Answers to questions in the comment section:
AlittaM asked: How big is Sara's room? Lucia has a a kind of small room and I start to find it difficult to keep all the toys in place.
Sara's room is about 12 square meter. Just enough room for a grown up bed (90*200 cm), a desk (made from an IKEA kitchen top, a big wardrobe (150 cm long, IKEA Pax) with a little bit of clothes and a lot of toys, a big armchair and a little bit of floor space. We have tried to furnish her room so it can suite her needs for a long time.
Vanessa asked (on this post): Do you ever make komle at home? I'd love to see your recipe since there are so many regional variations.
I have never ever made komle at home. I used to hardly eat it, but when I started studying again, it became a tradition to eat it during every study gathering (ca six times a year) - Thursdays are komle day in the student .

April 1, 2006-2015
2006: A weekend visit from Bergen to Stavanger to hang out with our friends. It was a lovely spring day, so we went for a very slow walk in Godalen.
2008: Title and caption written on Flickr: tirsdag 1. april // 92/366 // i bought a new 50 mm lens. hurra! the other one fell to the floor and broke. the trees near the theatre has started blooming. i finished the article about norwegian design. i have a deliciously intense barolo in my glass, and now we are going to watch the wire. didn't get around to doing it last night.
2009: I babysat our friends' baby boy.
2010: Easter vacation at the mountain cabin. Hama loves the wood stove!
2011: The Artist Diner mini magazine came from the printer. Also, the day I found out I was pregnant with Sara - which meant I could not drink bubbly on the Artist Diner launch party.
2012: Easter vacation and Sara's pulk debut. Blogged.
2013: One of my photos was published in Frankie magazine.
2014: mamma and toddler selfie (last spring in our Bergen apartment)
