Sunday afternoon scooting
Today has been beautiful. The perfect, chilly late autumn day. We bundled up and played outside; Sara in her new winter overall and I wore my new parka. Sara loves the little pink scooter she got for her second birthday last week. She has already got a pretty good hang of it.

that warm summer light

| Fuji Superia 200, Canon EOS 500N |
We went to a party last night. It has been a long, long time since I was at a party on a Friday night. After the busy work week, I prefer to spend my Friday night on the sofa in front of the TV. But last night was a blast. Such fun catching up with old friends! Today is not that much fun though. Those after midnight drinks are never a good idea...

sneak peek: darker mornings
![]() |
| Kodak Portra 400, Minolta SRT 101 |
I picked up this film from the lab today, the Kodak Portra 400 that I shot the darker mornings project with. I have not yet decided what to do with the photos; I'm thinking of maybe turning them into a Blurb book, or maybe I will just post them all here on the blog. In the meantime I leave you with my favorite frame from very beginning of the roll. A happy accident that only film can create.

summer beach memories and the beginning of winter
![]() |
| Kodak Ektar 100 |
It is pitch dark and pouring down outside. It was 1 degree Celsius when I drove to work this morning. The mountain tops in the distance are suddenly snow covered. I made a mental note to get the winter tires on as soon as possible. Most of the pretty autumn foliage is gone; we are entering stick season. There will months of naked trees and landscapes in shades of brown and grey. I'm working on a Christmas story at work.
November is the end of autumn and the beginning of winter. And here I am sharing photographic summer memories from a beach called Bore.

ranunculus galore
![]() |
| winter 2013 | Kodak Ektachrome 100VS |
Apparently I really loved this bouquet of ranunculus. The things with film is, it is easy to forget how many photos you have already taken of that particular thing that you find really, really pretty. PS: I love flowers!

Wednesday: (Sara's birthday) (a small serving of) a salad made of beef, potatoes, tomatoes, red onion and kale pesto + mushroom soup at Litteraturhuset
Thursday: baked salmon and apple avocado salad Sølve's lasagne and mixed lettuce
Friday: my mum's salmon pasta

about this project
- every Monday I post the week's menu
- I also post what we actually had for dinner the passed week (because it is fun to see if we actually followed the plan)
- there might be links to recipes, but the menu will mostly just be basic ideas for the dinners - often just based on what ever is in our fridge, freezer and cupboards
- Saturday and Sunday dinners will often not be planned ahead because we have a habit of buying whatever looks good in the store when we are out grocery shopping Saturday morning

one roll in one go, part III
Monday October 12, on a whim, I loaded my little Olympus mju-II point and shoot camera with a roll of Fuji Superia 200 film and shot everything in one go around the house. I'll post all the 36 photos that came out of the roll in the same order I shot them. Just for fun. PS: I have done this before; check the "one roll in one go" label to see all the posts.
