Marie shoots film

Why do you shoot film, Marie?

I have started to shoot film few months ago because this medium was really appealing to me. I like the textures, the grain, the fact that you don't have an instant result. I love to wait for my rolls to be developed, and to be wonder or upset by the results. I feel also really involved in a creation process, working with colors, shapes and doing my best to obtain the result I want without any picture treatment. For me film photography is a poetry with delicate words and real feelings.

You can see more of Marie's photos on her Tumblr.

I picked up this film from the lab today. It is one of my favorites; Agfa Precisa 100 slide film. The photos are from November to February; a lovely collection of everyday life glimpses. I'll share more soon.

about this project

- every Monday I post the week's menu
- I also post what we actually had for dinner the passed week (because it is fun to see if we actually followed the plan)
- there might be links to recipes, but the menu will mostly just be basic ideas for the dinners - often just based on what ever is in our fridge, freezer and cupboards
- Saturday and Sunday dinners will often not be planned ahead because we have a habit of buying whatever looks good in the store when we are out grocery shopping Saturday morning

So, what are you planning to have for dinner this week?
