Here are a few things I have worked on lately (images taken with my cell phone hence the not excellent quality):



I have written an article for Coop Medlem (which is free in all Coop stores) about how to make the best of your wardrobe space. I interviewed Linda of Norsk Stil who's an interior designer (interiørarkitekt MNIL).

I have written three articles for the newest issue of GC Bergen. I also wrote some articles for the first issue.


The first article that I wrote for GC Bergen is about an interior designer working in Bergen. Photographs by Lars Svenkerud.

The second article for GC Bergen is about blogging and I interviewed the lovely Ingvild of Ingvild Telle. Ingvild took the photos.


The third article I wrote for GC Bergen is called Bergen seen through tourists eyes. Photographs by Lori, Ken, Mathias and Jördis.

GC Bergen: the cooking class

The third and last article I wrote for GC Bergen was about the cooking class at Potetkjelleren restaurant. Excellent restaurant, fun and yum cooking class. The recipes are in the magazine, so you can cook it all in your own kitchen.

GC Bergen: the tannery

My second article for GC Bergen is about a local tannery, ca 40 minutes drive from the city centre of Bergen.

Borge Garveri exports 98 % of their production, and 60-70 % of this is made into beautiful women's bags and purses for brands like Gucci, Alviero Martini, Calvin Klein, J. Crew, Coach and Tusting. Leather from Borge is also made into shoes for brands like Prada, Footjoy, De Niro Boot Co, Duckfeet and George Esquivel.

The contrast between these luxury high fashion brands and this down to earth local industry situated in a lovely landscape by a fjord on the west coast of Norway is quite striking.

Glam City Bergen

If you live in Bergen (I know a few of you who stop by here do) you should check out the new magazine that was launched this week: GC Bergen. I have written/photographed 3 articles for this debut issue. I'll tell you more about it later.

At the same time I'm very sad to see that NO magazine, that I have been a regular contributor to since 2004, needs to take a break. They are sure though that the magazine will be back once the credit crunsh is over.

GC Bergen: the designers

Remember I told you about this new magazine that is out in Bergen? I promised to tell you a little more about the articles I wrote. I'm not going to say much, because you should rather get the magazine and read the articles (in Norwegian) ;-) I might upload the article to my work website at some point - I'll let you know when I do. Those of you who don't read Norwegian can at least have a look at the photos.
