First time trick or treating - for both of us. She loved it, and didn't mind the rain at all.
Morning beauty, November 2. Not pictured: a family of four that all came down with the stomach flu and a mother who is pretty bummed she had to cancel the work trip to Spain because of said sickness.
Thankful for being back to everyday activities like walking to kindergarten to pick up the kids after the stomach flu drained absolutely all energy out of me.
A typical pappa daughter conversation:
"You know so much, pappa."
"Pappa knows everything!"
"No, you don't. You don't know how to make a volcano."
Therefore he decided to make a paper mache volcano. To be continued.
Friday 9 am: a much needed walk around the lake. Being outdoors is always a good idea.
One of the things I like about November: seeing the morning light break the darkness of the night.
sisters reunited // a weekend with the best company
Sverre's playground favorite: the slide - even in turtle speed.
More! More! More!
Another playground favorite: the swings - even more so when doing it with big sister Sara.
Sunday family dinner made extra special because of the best visitors all the way from Tromsø. Plus sodd - the traditional meat and vegetables soup from Trøndelag, the part of Norway where my dad is from. One of my favorite meals.
