summer in the arctic north

Kodak Ektar 100, Canon EOS 500N

These photos were taken a five minutes walk from my sister's old apartment at Fagereng, Tromsø. Can you believe it?! The arctic north takes my breath away every time I visit. I have been several times, but this was my first summer visit. As long as my sister, her boyfriend and their baby son live in Tromsø, I will still have a good excuse to travel this far north - even though I really wish we lived closer.

  3. Hei, Astrid!

  5. Oofff. I was supposed to visit Tromso last year - it was my BIG goal for the year and it didn't happen. I am so sad! THIS YEAR IT WILL!!! These photographs are beautiful, thank you as always for sharing with those of us stuck in GREY CITIES far from the Arctic North x
