what's for dinner, week 40

what we had for dinner, week 39

Monday: Grandiosa frozen pizza
Tuesday: roasted vegetables (what ever is in the fridge: carrot, potato, red onion, garlic, broccoli, asparagus), random meat leftovers from the freezer, all mixed with feta cheese
Wednesday: kålstuing (creamed cabbage), sausages and boiled potatoes
Thursday: salmon pasta

We are off for the weekend, so no more dinner planning this week.

What we actually had for dinner last week (pictured above):

Monday: red lentil soup
Tuesday: Sunday leftovers
Wednesday: French bistro salad
Thursday: fårikål
Friday: fårikål leftovers for my mother-in-law - Sølve and I are off to Stockholm; we had a scrumptious taster menu Vassa Eggen Steak House
Saturday: another scrumptious meal, at Bistro Jarl
Sunday: leftovers; fårikål, Sølve's pot roast (from the freezer) and broccoli kale soup (from the freezer)

about this project

- every Monday I post the week's menu
- I also post what we actually had for dinner the passed week (because it is fun to see if we actually followed the plan)
- there might be links to recipes, but the menu will mostly just be basic ideas for the dinners - often just based on what ever is in our fridge, freezer and cupboards
- Saturday and Sunday dinners will often not be planned ahead because we have a habit of buying whatever looks good in the store when we are out grocery shopping Saturday morning
