what's for dinner, week 37

what we had for dinner, week 36

Monday: braised lamb shanks 
Tuesday: lamb shank leftovers 
Wednesday: broccoli and kale soup with homemade croutons 
Thursday: roasted vegetables and feta (what ever is left in the fridge, which most likely will be potato, carrot, onion, Brussel sprouts, Jerusalem artichoke, garlic)
Friday: salmon pasta

What we actually had for dinner last week (pictured above):

Monday: carrot soup leftovers + baguette with homemade arugula pesto
Tuesday: what ever is in the fridge/freezer stew; Vossakorv (sausage made of sheep), potato, celery root, celery, onion, garlic, canned tomatoes, black eyed beans + fresh oregano, thyme and rosemary
Wednesday: stew leftovers + added a bit of cream 
Thursday: a delicious three course sea food dinner at Brygga11
Friday: lemon honey marinated chicken filet + greens
Saturday: a day of grazing, including hot dogs 
Sunday: rosemary roasted lamb filet, roasted Brussel sprouts and garlic cloves, sauteed mushrooms and mushroom sauce

about this project

- every Monday I post the week's menu
- I also post what we actually had for dinner the passed week (because it is fun to see if we actually followed the plan)
- there might be links to recipes, but the menu will mostly just be basic ideas for the dinners - often just based on what ever is in our fridge, freezer and cupboards
- Saturday and Sunday dinners will often not be planned ahead because we have a habit of buying whatever looks good in the store when we are out grocery shopping Saturday morning
