what's for dinner, week 25

Monday: whole grain spaghetti with sausage, onion, garlic, fresh parsley and Jarlsberg cheese + mixed lettuce, tomato and balsamic vinegar
Tuesday: spicy melon salad with coriander, pan fried chicken filet, rice and sweet chili sauce
Wednesday: roasted beetroot and barley salad with feta
Thursday: hamburgers
Friday: salmon sashimi

What we actually had for dinner last week:

Monday: spicy fruit salad with shredded store bought grilled chicken, coriander and sweet chili sauce
Tuesday: roasted beetroot and barley salad with feta
Wednesday: beef stir fry with what ever vegetables are in the fridge mixed grilled meats, marinated grilled mushrooms and Greek salad
Thursday: baked cod wolffish with creme fraiche mustard dressing and bacon
Friday: white beans, tomato and feta salad sushi at Nama
Saturday: a delicious five course dinner at our friends' place
Sunday: Chinese take out from Ho ho snaddermat

about this project

- every Monday I post the week's menu
- I also post what we actually had for dinner the passed week (because it is fun to see if we actually followed the plan)
- there might be links to recipes, but the menu will mostly just be basic ideas for the dinners - often just based on what ever is in our fridge, freezer and cupboards
- Saturday and Sunday dinners will often not be planned ahead because we have a habit of buying whatever looks good in the store when we are out grocery shopping Saturday morning
