Why do you shoot film, Isabelle?

I shoot film because it has an extra layer of memory to it: I won't only remember the event that I was capturing, but also the exact moment the picture was taken in, since I took it more consciously. I shoot film because despite all apps and filters, nothing can reproduce the tones, softness, and surprises that film produces. I shoot film because it's exciting. I shoot film because it helps me practice patience. I shoot film because it's the most magical way to document and look back on life.
