My baby Sara (soon 15 months old) walks! She seems to still prefer to crawl though, but she walks a lot too. All by herself. We are SO proud. And so is she. Also, she has a slight fever today. Poor thing. So instead of our daily nap time walk, we stay indoors today. It is not easy to get her down for a nap in her bed during daytime though. My trick used to be to carry her in the Ergo until she fell asleep, and then put her down in her bed. She still falls asleep in the carrier, but she wakes up the second I put her down. So today I have put the pram in her bedroom, dressed her in wool, opened the window to let some of that cold winter air in - and now she sleeps like an angel. And I get a little break - with warm coffee, a cookie and some computer time.
Yay! :) Cutie!

ReplyDeleteYay! So cute! My little Lucia has started walking in the past few days too :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I know that when you get your kid used to sleep in a certain way, it's very difficult to change it. My little girl has a pacifier and a little blanket and she will not sleep without them.
Congratulations Sara! You must be very proud!
