what's for dinner, week 38

Sunday lamb shank dinner

Monday: leftovers from Thursday last week (from the freezer)
Tuesday: tandoori chicken
Wednesday: stroganoff
Thursday: fish soup

We are off to our friend's family's cabin at Fogn for the weekend, so the rest of this week's dinners will be planned and made with our friends.

What we actually had for dinner last week:

Monday: Sunday leftovers mixed with roasted potatoes, beet roots, garlic cloves and shallots + baby leaf salad mix with cherry tomatoes and feta cheese
Tuesday: homemade mushroom soup
Wednesday: cod and spinach hot dogs
Thursday: tandoori chicken salad Sølve's stew with a random mix of vegetables, herbs, lamb chops and pork filet
Friday: chevice frozen pizza
Saturday: fish/meat of the day with vegetables: first course: cold smoked brown trout (caught and smoked by Sølve's colleague) with flatbread, red onion and Røros Rømme (a special kind of sour cream), main course: entrecote of red deer (a gift from our neighbour), pan fried chanterelle and Brussel sprouts, and a sauce made of pan juice, sherry, apple juice, creme fraiche and butter, dessert: homemade apple cake (with apples form our garden) with vanilla ice cream
Sunday: fish/meat of the day with vegetables: lamb shank with root vegetables, plums and apple juice
