Trixia shoots film
Why do you shoot film, Trixia?
I love the look and feel of old cameras. They're gorgeous and well-made (most of them, at least!), and I won't ever feel the need to replace them with "newer" models.
it's permanent. Once you take a shot it can't be erased or deleted and becomes part of the roll, a collection of images curated from your life. Even shots that turn out to be more blah than expected are treasured because they make the roll complete.
it's so simple, just light and a lens, no adjustments needed for ISO, image quality or white balance. Yet, at the same time, there are tons of cameras to choose from and dozens of types of film, so the possibilities are endless.
You can see more of Trixia's photos on her blog and Flickr.
