the garden party

My friend turned 30 this weekend and she celebrated it with a wonderful girls' garden party. Her husband cooked a super yummy bbq dinner, the weather was warm and sunny, and all the guests wore pretty summer dresses. There were lawn games, bare feet in the grass, and strawberry galore.

The birthday girl had a big smile on her face the whole evening. It was in fact the perfect summer garden party.

  9. I love the covered patio...I would love to add one of those corrugated plastic pieces to the top of mine. It seems the one in the picture is slanted downward, (smart for rain) great idea!
